HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DARLING [personal profile] callowyn, LIGHT OF MY LIFE, who asked, "Which of you will be the first to write this for me?" and the answer is: me. ILU 5EVA CALLYFACE <######

Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] thegeminisage for betareading! Title from "Assurance" by William Stafford.

1. Would the 'missing scene' meme work if I drabbled a missing scene from one of YOUR fics? Or if YOU drabbled a missing scene from one of mine? Or is that too much.

3. What is with this LJ apocalypse I've been hearing rumours about (again). Whatev. But, since I've been meaning to do this anyway, I started an insanejournal here as a form of alternate fic repository. I should def move the older ones, 'cos I don't have the files for those anymore.

4. The awesome [livejournal.com profile] lazaefair has organized the crack-addled mess that is me and Bedlam's pevencestuous grifters commentfic AU (...we haven't thought of a title, okay) into chronological order, and it can be found on [livejournal.com profile] themusingstream. *glomps her* (Do people still use 'glomp' anymore?) At this point we've had cameos from Ocean's 11, Numb3rs (just a teeny one), and Merlin. And Boondock Saints, though the McManus brothers haven't officially showed up. ...Shit, I misplaced my shame gland again.

5. More drabbles:
Merlin/Narnia. Merlin and the Pevensies in England. This is entirely tricksterquinn's fault. )
Boondock Saints. Someone's forgotten something. )

The following were originally posted here for the (still ongoing?) 'missing scene' meme, and have been spruced up for an actual post.

- from this room has many windows (Narnia, Susan/Peter/Edmund), for [livejournal.com profile] lettersandliars
a starched cotton dress and runs in her stockings )

- from A Guide to Modern Living (Gossip/Boondock Saints, Travis/Connor), for [livejournal.com profile] lux__aeterna
i'll pray for whoever i fucking want to )

- from The Left Hand of Heaven (Narnia, Edmund & Peter), for [livejournal.com profile] bedlamsbard
lucy grins at him with a rabbit in each hand )

- from Just Lie Back and Think of Camelot (Merlin, Arthur/Merlin), for half of [livejournal.com profile] mumblemutter
what does mugwort do anyway? )

Overdue ducttape!fic for [livejournal.com profile] zehara. Sorry it took so long, Billie. Thanks again for the VCD and I hope you like this fic, even with its lack of honey and disco balls. (I tried, I tried, I really did. I’ll get them someday.)

Boondock Saints. Connor/Murphy. R. Warning: incest.
It has a light side, it has a dark side, and it holds the universe together. Continued from this.

To give you an idea of how long I’ve been working on-again-off-again on this thing, here’s a link to the challenge that initially inspired it. I think I actually fulfilled it, except for the time limit. I divided the fic into two parts because it's long. Major big props to [livejournal.com profile] anjali_organna because not only did she keep it cool when she found 17 pages in her inbox, but she did an awesome beta too. Thanks very much, Anjali.

So yeah, you better read it.

Big Sky Country (1/2)

I drabbled. Thrice. The first two drabbles contain incest, so be warned.

[livejournal.com profile] zehara, the BDS drabble is for you, because don't think I've forgotten. I've not forgotten, I'm just a bum, and that drabble is only the beginning. I apologize for being a tardy 'tard; feel free to send me drop-kicks through the mail. :(

I'm 18 years old today. :) Hooray for me.

I originally meant for this to be on [livejournal.com profile] bds100, but then it U-turned on me and was all, “No.”

Boondock Saints. Connor/Murphy. PG13…? Troy Duffy owns everything except the drabble itself.
The inevitable.

Once Upon a Time in America. PG-rated rootlessness. Written for the lyrics challenge.

So I finally got around to watching The OC. (Word up, Kazaa.) I'm rocking the Sandy Cohen love. From the fics I read I thought I'd be rocking the Seth love, and he is loved, but Sandy gets the lion's share. Hee.

Canon!Seth is less spastic than I thought he'd be. That's what I get for absorbing fanon before canon.

The other day I saw The OC soundtrack at Rockwell and that's just o_O;, 'cos they don't even air the show in this country.

Mutant plot bunny of the day: Boondock Saints/Ocean's 11. 'Cos Danny and Rusty are dirty, rotten thieves who need to be loved punished, perhaps with leather struck down by the righteous vengeance of the Lord.

My first post in this LJ recced his X2 fic, New Amsterdam, and now [livejournal.com profile] vagabond_sal is back with its sequel: A Topographical Survey of the Island of Manhattan. If you're a fan of movieverse!Pyro, read it. If you're a fan of New York City, read it. If you're a fan of phrases like "it had nothing to do with temperature, really, only the body slowly dying degree by degree" and "her fingers traced lazy circles around his and Bobby's wrists, like bracelets etched by touch", read it. He's left us before, ladies and gentlemen, but he's back. He's so back he never even left in the first place.

[livejournal.com profile] lux__aeterna wrote a Boondock Saints/Gossip crossover too. Graceful with an understated cool, like all her stuff, so won't you read it? 'Cos, y'know, a world with multiple Norman Reeduses is a way cooler world than the one I'm in...

...especially in my current state. This next piece is an offering to the gods in hopes they will stop the Niagara Falls that is my nose. Also: fluff for [livejournal.com profile] olukemi. Told you I could do it.
*transmits germs*

The title's, like, longer than the fic or something.

Rather short, this one.

Title: Down and Out in Brazil (or Venezuela)
Fandom: Boondock Saints
Rating: PG
Pairing: Gen.
Summary: A portrait of the homicidal Irishman as a young Indiana Jones fan. Vaguely inspired by Sean Patrick Flanery’s brief stint as a Young Indiana Jones. Duffy owns and I lie, except for the part where I said Duffy owns.

Actually no. Me and internet connection are actually totally OTP, kind of, ‘cos my love and hate for it is equal, though I admit that my love sometimes wins out. The internet connection, however, is indifferent and caters to the whims and pleasures of many people around the area, oftentimes having no time for me. I’m not sure why it needs to share itself with so many people. I wish it wouldn’t but I guess that’s just the way things are. I am hurt when it leaves me, but I forgive it, every time. Every time I see it stagger back, I’m only too happy and relieved for its return. I love it, I hate it, and sometimes that makes me think I am at least a little mad. Ourloveissofullofissues!

Okay, enough of that.

Title: 25 Cents
Author: Lassiter
Fandom: Boondock Saints
Pairing: Connor/Murphy, in its way
Rating: PG13 for language
Summary: In which the brothers nurse their wounds alone and the guilty are sensitive to the subtlest accusation.
Author’s Notes Ramblings: This is, like. The first ever BDS fic I wrote. Ever. So that’s my excuse for its, like, ehness. It’s just been sitting in my hard drive all this time. Thought I might give it a bit of spit-polish and finally let it out into the world. Props of the mad go to [livejournal.com profile] serialkarma for the beta.

It's a 3-in-1, dude. Well, 4-in-1 5-in-1 if you include the GIP and the awesome new community [livejournal.com profile] bloodynbruised, fulfilling all your multifandom people-beating-the-crap-out-of-each-other-for-reasons-which-may-or-may-not-relate-to-sexual-tension needs. Join now and get free shirts and lollipops.

Okay, so maybe just one lollipop.

Okay, there are no lollipops.

...I have just been informed there are no shirts either.

Aphorism. Boondock Saints drabble. Written for [livejournal.com profile] contrelamontre's 'fire' challenge and [livejournal.com profile] bds_drabble's 'fight' challenge. Connor/Murphy, PG13.

Good Intentions. Harry Potter drabble. OMFG I wrote Harry Potter. Who'd a thunk? I'm back, I'm back. So, I tried to write Padma/Parvati but that turned out to be a false alarm. So maybe I'm not as back as I thought. Anyway. Implied Draco/Harry, and after just replying to McTabby's poll with 'Harry/Draco' as my one dislike, too. The gods are funny that way.
You may notice 'Good Intentions' isn't posted under this account. A long time ago before this account came to be, all my fics were posted in what is now my RL journal. A long time ago, my RL journal got posting access to [livejournal.com profile] hpdrabble and I'm too lazy to fight for [livejournal.com profile] lassiterfics's posting access. So. That is Why.

Title: Stories About Vancouver
Fandom: LOTRips
Pairing: DM/BB
Rating: PG13
Summary: Reality evens out. The ground will be rushing up to meet you and the first mistake is to think this is a fall.

Stories About Vancouver )

This is absolutely heartwarming. Some random shopkeeping nobody in Hertfordshire wrote a screenplay that Disney bought for US$1 mil. He originally wrote the story for his two sons. Aww. Hurrah for the random shopkeeping nobody (whose name is Clive Woodall, just by the way)!

This is thoroughly amusing. Which one of you was talking about Faramir singing showtunes again?

And now for something sans adverbs: Happy St. Pat's, ya'll.
whynot: SPN: all hail (stay down muthafucka)
So here's my third attempt at writing a good-length BDS fic. No, the previous two haven't seen the light of day yet. I started writing this one for [livejournal.com profile] contrelamontre's 'water' challenge, but went way over the time limit. Also, it turned out to be gen. So there went that.

But first, 'cos it's shorter: Downward Slope. BDS drabble I wrote for contre's 'earth' challenge, which also turned out to be gen.

Title: 3000 Miles to Graceland
Fandom: Boondock Saints
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: The fic has nothing to do with the movie I stole (possibly ill-advisedly) the title from. Neither Elvis nor Memphis make an appearance in. While we're at it, Connor and Murphy McManus are the creations of Troy Duffy.
Summary: Big movements and small movements and Ireland in isolated moments.

whynot: SPN: all hail (no shirts no shoes)
Hey, there's this community called [livejournal.com profile] bds_drabble, and I joined, and friended it, and contributed, and why don't you join and contribute as well, and here is my entry for this week's challenge, which is about heat.

Wait, I've got another WIP to throw in! This time it's an honest-to-god WIP. It's Harry Potter, too. Yeah. Wrote it over Christmas, then we kind of lost our steam and I was all, "Eh."

Title: My WIP has no title.
Pairing: Percy/Oliver that never gets beyond PG in this incarnation. I just wasn't sure how I would navigate their characters towards it, which was one of the reasons I stopped writing this. I was feeling iffy about HP in general at the time. So yeah, here's pre-slash.
Summary: The war, which had nothing to do with Percy, is over. He spends his days being antisocial in a tiny flat in Diagon Alley. Enter Oliver, stage right. Stuff happens, or maybe they don't.

My WIP *needs* no title. )
