This was really great. I love the slow meandering of it, and how you never do say exactly what the problem is, only that the honeymoon had ended. And I'm left with the feeling that perhaps nothing really happened, but that Dom left before 'the bad thing' could happen. And the psychologist in me said 'fear of abandonment, so abandons on his own.' Meh.

Have you ever read any fic by scattergold? She's got a wonderful style, and several fandoms, but I love her LOTRips and Royal Tenenbaum fics. Well, any fic she does it good, but those are the ones I mostly read. If not, troll her memories when you want to read something.
