oh captain planet! i want the one where their rings get stolen by war-profiteering scientists who duplicate and enhance the design and the planeteers become INDIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WEAPONRY OF WORLD WAR 3. or has this already been done? i didn't watch the "new adventures" so much. the moralizing was strangely done, villains who are all like, "I POLLUTE BECAUSE IT COMPLETES ME AND GLADDENS MY VERY SOUL." but i guess what can you do, with a kids' show about recycling.

merlin is started this autumn and it just wrapped up season 1 last week (COMMENCE WITHDRAWAL), so there's plenty of time to catch up, if you wish it, before season 2 arrives. i hear NBC (or someone) is picking it up for next year?
