So tempting to write backpacking!Bradley fic, omg omg omg. I guess I'm already sort of writing travel commentfic with the RPF OT4 roadtrip, but that's just through America, and now I can make Bradley go all over THE WORLD. Meeting with young Australians and Scandinavians as consumed by wanderlust as he on the beaches of Corregidor and Ko Samui, casual vacation sex, grilled fish, exotic fruit (he rather likes the durian, doesn't really see why everyone else is all EWWW about it). They are like aberrations in the landscape here, on the other side of the world, and their difference imbues them with false notions of their own strength. SNORKELING AND THE OCEAN AS METAPHOR FOR ANOTHER WORLD, because the ocean is a metaphor for everything.
Maybe he runs into Susan, who is searching for that cave in the South Seas that the Telmarines used to cross over into Narniaaaaaaaa.
