There's no way to be sure! And he can't do anything but move on, 'cos that's what he learned at Camelot, how to move on and to just do the job in front of you. You can't really go back. You can't undo things. You can't go back, but for some reason life/lives is/are cyclical, and once more he is in a world where everyone thinks he's something else. It is a new iteration of the old story, and he is not as young as he used to be (and not as old either).
