I know I've read this before, but seems I failed to comment... (Shame on me!) Accordingly, I'm now going to ramble a bit about the parts I love the most!

I love how you deal with the concept of identity in this story, making it every bit as complicated as it is in real life. The idea of acting, pretending, defining oneself in relation to others, holding certain truths about oneself... all of it, as shown with Bradley here, was wonderful and so true-to-life.

Also, I love how this story makes you feel right along with it... Somewhere towards the end of the first part, I felt just as displaced as I imagine poor Bradley did, and, by the end of the story, I felt like it was all going to be okay. It was very, very lovely.

And, speaking of the ending, I love where you chose to end the story. It has a definite resolution, though leaves the ultimate ending open to further interpretation. (Note: This is not to say that if you were to write more to this story -- either continuing it on or examining another pov -- I wouldn't read... I would certainly read it, just to see what direction you take with this fascinating premise next! But as it is, it feels complete.)

This is the type of story that (for me, anyway) needs to be read, then digested, then read again, because it's just so interesting and detailed and complex. I suspect I'll be reading it again in the future, but for now, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed it.
