Right, so, I've re-read this a few times now. This is incredibly hilarious and I always literally laugh out loud when I read it, because it's priceless and cracktastic in all the right places, but it also captures the holy shit kind of realization Bradley has when he slowly recognizes that this is his new reality, and he has to live in it somehow. It's a terrifying realization and that adds a serious and dramatic side to what could have been just really excellent crack. I really feel his dread and homesickness.

I would quote my favorite lines from this but there are far too many. The dragon and Bradley especially have brilliant lines, and you have Merlin absolutely down. And the way Merlin misses Arthur in a way, but Bradley sort of becomes Arthur in some sort of character bleed. And Uther's desperation to have his son and heir back. And GAIUS, what a creeper. Everything in this is so brilliant, but the whole is even better than its parts, and it all comes together so wonderfully.

In short: This is possibly my favorite Merlin fic in the fandom. Well done.
