I feel like they try very hard, but never quite manage to line reality up with the story. The Maid Marion role gets passed around all over the place -- even Gaius gets a go, which is equal parts frustrating and disturbing for all concerned.

This thing about knowing stuff to write about it always trips me up. Though if I strictly stuck to what I know but avoided getting autobioical I'd write AUs about chess and chocolate, I suppose.
