I love that you made Nimueh surprised, because she's become so much like magic that she expected Merlin to understand that as well, but it brings it back to the kind of humanized betrayal she's experienced before. Poor crazy Nimueh. Love her.

I have various feelings of sad in regards to this, but I love that line, because it's true and it's both on the alter of the future of Camelot.
Haha. And I love Will being all, "My best friend was Merlin," probably all excited to have someone to talk to and I can picture Nimueh's expression right there. So awesome.
I love that the sort of final attitude of death gives them both sort of a way to talk beyond the awkwardness and Nimueh's not all full of rage and revenge, because she's dead so you know. And the paragraph about Will taking it all in is really descriptive and you can totally tell what's going on in his brain that moment while he processes.
“He’s a good guy,” Will answers. “I’ll introduce you to him when he dies.”
That line kind of like twisted something in my chest, because like what if he gets TURNED INTO A TREE? DOES HE NOT GET TO SEE WILL AGAIN? What if it takes forever and then Merlin's too old to like throw apples at Old Man whathisface. That'll be SAD.

Gwen, was it? Was that her name? Will remembers her as a soft and comforting presence who always had a smile for him when their paths crossed.
Totally makes me want Gwen/Will, but just in general I love that because at the very least they probably could have been good friend, because Gwen is a sweetheart and that's recognizable from the beginning.
It reminds Nimueh that she still hasn’t gone to see Igraine yet, and that she should. Well, she will. At some point.
AND I LOVE YOU FOREVER. FOREVER. Because I wasn't even expecting that, but I love it.
And there's Nimueh/Dragon which I am convinced totally is in the show. AWESOME.
