Jadis and Nimueh playing chess together would be too intense. I think they should lighten up - that is, they probably would lighten up, if they had to hang out in an apartment together. Jadis is not as young as she used to be, when she first made it to England. The lack of carriages to stand on and ride is disappointing to her. Instead they have these things they call cars but look nothing like the cars she knows about. Nimueh drives her around in one though once, because for some reason Nimueh's magic is better at that sort of thing, and she has fun ordering the other woman around and pretending that Nimueh is actually being ordered around. really they are just going the same place, anyway, so it works out fine between the two of them.

wait what?? what on earth is that first thing, I can figure out the second but what? also I heard where the wild things are is way too depressing and like incorporates adult issues into a kid's book. which I shouldn't be complaining about, I mean that's Narnia fanfic essentially and I take great joy in ruining childhood fantasy, but still :/ depressing is depressing is depressing.
