falsjlf;k;s'kgl;jfdklgdlgjfd YOU, SIR, ARE AWESOME. This comment, like, made me go like this: XD!!!!!11 \o/!!

What a delightful thing to find in my inbox! Edmund and Susan are my favorites, and I honestly cannot choose who I <3 more. They're both so compelling, I don't even know where to start. I'm glad you now ship Edmund/Susan, that is AWESOME, yay! I ship the Pevensies in any combination (with a special place in my heart for Peter/Susan), and I find the world sadly lacking in Edmund/Susan. I've been thinking a lot lately about how, in England, Edmund maybe gets Susan's drift better than everyone else because of the whole betrayal thing. He was the traitor, once. Now it's Susan. And it's not that Edmund thinks she's right, but maybe he understands.

I'm glad the characterizations worked with you because AUGH SUSAN, I firmly believe that the very things that made her a good queen is what made her drift from Narnia (practicality, knowing how to adapt in social situations). Argh, I'm rambling. Not to, like, pimp my ego out or anything (except for how I'm about to), but I did a DVD commentary on this fic if you're interested in that kind of thing; the link's at the top of the page in the header. This (http://bantha-fodder.livejournal.com/227484.html) is another great Edmund&Susan piece -- not necessarily shippy, but has both of them being awesome working together. Also, a couple of my favorite Narnia writers [livejournal.com profile] animus_wyrmis and [livejournal.com profile] zempasuchil are both working on Ed/Su stories (well, I think Animus's might be technically Ed&Su) right now, so keep an eye on them.

Duuuude, thanks bunches for taking the time to leave this epically awesome comment. <333
