I'm definitely Peter/Susan, too---deep down in my heart, but Edmund/Susan is making itself into something to be reckoned with, me thinks. I find Peter a more "magnificent" character through the fanfic writings because CS Lewis didn't really focus too much on his character. He was rather perfect, if you know what I mean. So I loved PC!Peter because it gave him some serious dynamic. <3 Adamson. Peter/Susan was my first Pevensiecest ship and I like Lucy/Edmund only on the side of Peter/Susan. I've always been neutral on Lucy's character, though I love her, it isn't the same level of ferocity as Peter-Su-Ed.
And I agree with you definitely. I've always felt CS Lewis writing her as the 'logical' one has turned her into the cynical being she is---her sensible side has made her forget Narnia because it was the only thing she could do... sensibly. If you know what I mean. And I'd love to see Edmund/Susan in the time between Dawn Treader and Last Battle, that would be fantastic. Heeee. =D
Might have to check out the commentary and thank you so much for the fic recs. <33 You're amazing. Thanks for sharing the love.
