There are parts of Merlin that Arthur will never know because Arthur will never understand them, but Merlin, instead of leaving with Morgana, has for some reason chosen to stay here and spend his time exchanging invectives with Arthur and occasionally saving his life. Arthur figures that must count for something.

I really liked this, that bit in particular (despite the Merlin/Arthur). The way the four of them get entangled works well for me. And I was very amused by Morgana's letter's reactions to Arthur's nosiness.
