dude this is uncanny. I had a hard time reading this as Morgana and Arthur, almost, but they talk like themselves, they don't talk like Sam and Dean. But the things they say are so very the same! Morgana's visions just top it off, I mean, how perfect.
I do love how right off they're themselves, though - Morgana and her clothes, Arthur and his nobility for the work while Morgana practically steps on his foot to accept a reward XD Really fascinating fusion!
possible favorite part: There is a hardness that settles into her that Arthur isn't sure what to make of. There is something reflexive about it, defensive, like a rechanneling of energy: if she is scared, she will make sure everything else is too. In a way Morgana is becoming the sister he always wanted growing up, but on the other hand, Arthur doesn't know this Morgana very well. He realizes he doesn't know a Morgana who isn't trying to leave. I want to read this over and over and meditate on how true it is for Morgana in her own way, and how it is for Sam too in his own way. OH BOY oh man lass you've done it again! :D
