And then Mom says, "Ben, go to your room," so he does, but he can still hear Dean and Mom trying to keep their voices down downstairs. He tries to sneak out to the landing to see, but the floor creaks and gives him away. Mom doesn't hear, but Dean does and he looks up.

"Ben," he says.

So Mom looks up. "Ben, what did I say?"
