OMG LASS HOW DO I LOVE THIS STUPID SHOW SO MUCH?? AND SCOTT CAAN'S FACE I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHYYYY IT AFFECTS ME SO. ALSO, HE IS VERY LITTLE, I AM JUST NOTICING THIS NOW! BUT COMPARED TO STEVE, HE IS WEE! OR MAYBE IT IS JUST THE ANGLE THEY SHOOT HIM FROM, IDK. OMG OMG KONA & CHIN FAMILY ~DRAMA~
I think I care about Danny's manpain because it revolves around his daughter, and him just wanting to be a good father. Good dads are sexy, IDK. Also, LOL forever at his "If I lose Rachael, I've got no one on this island" and then immediate cut to Steve's concerned face. You were soooo right about the fan service.
I would assume finale for kidnapping...that's how these shows roll, ya know?
OHHH I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MERLINVERSE FROM YOU.
OKAY FINE: The first time Kona gets really, really drunk, she's fifteen and at a party that's busted by the cops. She doesn't remember much, just music and dancing, then flashing lights and people scrambling, and then a hard arm around her shoulders, dumping her unceremoniously in the back of a car. She passes out to the sound of megaphones, ordering people to come out of house.
She wakes up in Chin's spare bedroom with a killer headache and a mouth of cotton. She stumbles into the kitchen, where the smell of coffee makes her stomach revolt and she lurches to the bathroom. Chin, to his credit, lets her throw up in peace, but when she comes back out he says, eyes furious, "Don't you ever put yourself in that position again. Do you have any idea what could have happened to you?"
She does have an idea. She's grown up with cops, for god's sake. In her adolescent self-righteous anger, Kona storms out of the house and doesn't speak to him for two days, until she finds out at school that most everyone else at the party got a citation for underage drinking.
At the next family barbecue, she brings Chin a beer. "You're welcome," he says, and she nods and walks away. Behind her, Kona can hear her mother saying perplexedly to him, "Don't you mean thank you?" and Kona smiles.
