This is gorgeous, you worked all the little things in like the police station in Colorado so seamlessly that it feels new yet familiar. I loved that Castiel has been there all through Jimi's life, it's so much more believable that he would leave his family in that circumstance. The part where Castiel comes to Jimi is especially beautiful.

But I think what really makes this so heartwrenching for me is the background of the Nasrudins coming to America and the way that 'Chandra stopped calling her parents Ibu and Bapak; now they are Mom and Dad.' I know that wasn't the point of the fic but it kinda breaks my heart.
