Yeah, this is a story where an innocent person loses, and where *some people* don't do what they ought to do, ie not sleep with kids. But I think there's room for that kind of story too, especially since you center Claire's experiences. Basically I was really impressed but I don't know that I want to read it again, lol. ::heartbreak::

I have thoughts (or, one thought)! But I like that the narrative leaves them as guesses.
