It's been so long since I watched season 4, but I think you've really put a spin on it that I haven't seen - or at least haven't seen as well expressed as you have, here.

I can't say that I agree with Castiel that we "deserve exactly what we have," but I really like how you got inside Sam's head. I can well believe that this is exactly what's going on in there.
