Re: Winchesters: not alone, but independent and not following someone else, if that makes sense. I could see them (would adore seeing them) having allies, but I feel like they've fought so hard to be out from other people's commands that the dynamic with Samuel pinged me.

I have a really hard time incorporating Mystery Spot into fluffy Sam/Gabriel. (Mine's not hatesex dubcon, and the sex is more metaphysics than bodies. IDEK, it's weird.) Well, and Gabriel's Not Nice, no matter how you slice it, so keeping that seems important.

Wow, I see the Novaks as the most damning episode about the consequences of possession. We get a bit of the aftermath with Meg's statement about her sister, but, really, the focus is on the demons and angels, and not the bodies they're possessing. That they went there with Castiel, who's more or less a protagonist and popular, makes it even more amazing. So, yeah, NOVAKS! (I wish I had the chops to write my epic Team Free Will v2 fic, but I just don't. Le sigh. But it would have NOVAKS!)
