I can see that, especially with how Sam's thing has always been struggling to do his own thing. But independence doesn't have to mean being your own boss all the time though. Sometimes there are times when you think to yourself, "If the needle is wise, be the thread." The decision to follow someone can still be an exertion of independence, misguided as it might be in Sam's case. And Sam did say he was hunting solo, so I don't know how often he hooks up with the Campbells anyway. Probably not all the time.

I hope it's not misguided thought :(. I want the Campbells to be not evil. Let them be dicks and morally ambiguous, but pls odn't make them straight-up evil.
