Okay, so I finally wrote up my reactions to 6.01, which means that I read your reactions to 6.01 (I write my own stuff before reading other reactions, otherwise badness happens). I, umm, blocked teh 'best year of my life' part and mostly went with 'yay they gave Lisa lines that track with her concern with Ben in S3 and she has lines and they didn't kill her.' So, yeah.
That's because The Benders is an awesome episode made of awesome! With not a lick of the supernatural in it, woot! Although IDEK what the future could hold for Missy Bender (I think that's her name), although I imagine there's some really, really rough times ahead for her.
I <3 Jesse, although I think he definitely needs to be a light touch kind of character. That's the problem with all powerful characters - they take a lot of tension out. Although his transformation of Castiel into an action figure remains utterly awesome.
