It's a very weird thought experiment. "What's it like to have 600 wings that shed jewels? What's it like to stand guard at the gate of Eden with a sword that turns every way? It appeals to my rampant anthropomorphism.
(I wish we could resolve the Heaven crisis like The Conference of the Birds. It's a Persian/Sufi story where a bunch of birds go to find the Simorgh aka "phoenix" to be their Lord, and along the journey everyone leaves or dies except for thirty. And they realize that they were looking for the si morgh aka "thirty birds" and the remaining thirty become enlightened/find God/become God. ) But that would require an audience familiar with medieval Persian stories... :P
