I like Team Free Will being complicated. Me too! Not just Team Free Will, but the balance of complicated relationships between a lot of people. I know the nature of fic is to focus on two people as an insular feedback loop of emotions, but I am much more impressed by fics that balance unique and significant relationships between characters in whatever capacity the characters mean to each other. Different, but not necessarily negating.
