You should congratulate me. I finally caught up with humanity this Friday and watched The King Comes Back. I had my doubts, y'know? 'Cos everyone was a born-again geek after the second movie but Two Towers didn't impress me so much. And now ROTK has made everyone born-again to the nth degree, so I was like, "I'll watch it but let's see..."

I <3 Faramir and his screwed up family and their Boromir issues. Aww, Faramir. <3

But I <3 Aragorn a lot. That part during the battle where he's all "HRAAARGH" with his sword then suddenly the ghostly green army suddenly MATERIALISES behind him? Oh, glorious. Oh, the <3. I wanted to jump out of my seat and throw a party. What really cracks me up is the coronation ceremony and we see him from his behind and his hair's all nice? Hehe. I find it funny that he's washed his hair. Hehehe. Lookie, Aragorn's washed his hair. Ehehehehe.

Merry and Pippin. Oh. Oh. That part when Gandalf's taking Pippin away? And Merry's all pissed, and Pippin asks him a question, and Merry doesn't answer? WAAAAAAAAAAAAH. Wah wah wah. <3.

Heeeey, Pippin can sing. Is that song on the soundtrack? What is the title? Help me out here, CDs are expensive.

That pig-faced orc who says, "Now our time will come." My friends and I have discussed this at length (3 seconds) and we've decided that his time will never come. Not with a nose like that.

Legolas definitely rocked ass with the elephant thing but besides that, he was pretty much useless. I want to see Orlando Bloom in a role where he has to use more than 2 facial expressions, please.

So when I got home, I clicked around for some Lotrips. I don't know. Lotrips never appealed that much to me before, but ROTK has changed that for some reason. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's hormones. I've read some, yeah. I know that fanon Orlando tends to be a raving lunatic and fanon Elijah tends to misplace his spine. I read cast quotes--ever quotable, aren't they?--that you folks post all the goddamn time and I had to agree that yes, they were cute. They were very cute. :)

My state of mind right now is like, "Oh, so this is what you guys are on about."

She handles the Elijah/Dom with with so much grace. Like a dance, it flows and seems natural but it looks too good to be unplanned. You can't believe how well everything is falling into place. To be honest, I clicked on this fic without seeing the pairing, so at first I thought it was an Elijah/Billy, but by the time the Elijah/Dom really took off, it made so much sense. It's a gorgeous piece of writing.

I just found out she has a site. I'll be hanging around there for the next day or five. Oh, and by the way:
