Where has this fic been all my fandom life? It's so incredibly beautiful and hitting such an odd string with me, that I'm staring at my computer screen with amazement. I adore this pairing, I can't understand why people aren't all over it. Maybe that's what makes it so special. There are certain moments in this that are just wonderful; Elijah holding his breath as Viggo fixes his makeup, the hair color and the bark of the tree. And the ending, OH! the ending. I have this werid thing with cabs, I use them all the time in my original work. Something so great about how they take the control away from a person and turn them into part of a script, a story. There was something so realistically perfect about Viggo leaning over that door, being poignant, and Lij just getting it.
