I don't know, but I felt something bitterly ironic when I read that line. Poor beloved Rupert and Tom. ):
Great job! I love the flow of the language and your writing style- especially the dialogue- I suck at writing that, and it's great to see someone who's brilliant at witty repartee. Personally, I'd say this was angsty but not too much.
Which is just right for me. (:
