Okay, bitches, hot guys coming through, make way, make way.
Hand Me My Leather by Proserpina (

Life As A House. Sam/Josh. NC17.
Dude, I cannot believe I forgot to rec this the last time. 'Kay, so like, Ian Somerhalder and Hayden Christensen, and erotic asphyxiation. I'm like, GUH. GUH. (Also, you should check out her RPS. Good stuff.)
Quote: Josh shrugs. “Fair enough. Its really more for your sick little pleasure than mine, though.” He stands up and his hands go to his belt, and Sam has to look away because this feels more like sex than it should.

Meantime RPS. Gary Oldman/Tim Roth. Yay! I mean, PG13. (Drat.)
It's about possibilities, and wishing for a better story, a better ending, than you've been given. It's about Gaz snogging Tim Roth. Okay, it's not. But it should be, dammit!
Quote: Sometimes the story goes on for days after the actual thing has happened. He has always preferred his own world to the real one
And while we're still on recs. Some of my RL friends have expressed interest in fanfiction, specifically HP, so I compiled a list of recs for them as a starter plate. Thought I'd share with you guys.
Walking Shadow by
pogrebin
I'm such a sucker for metafiction. Even before I got into fics I adored metafiction. I've just finished Jasper Fford's The Well of Lost Plots and was like, "XD!" I know everyone and their dog has probably read this, but whatev. It's dark, sharp, stylish, 'cos, y'know, it's Pogrebin.
Quote: In true fairy tales, they never ask themselves such questions.
Salience by
holographis
Holographis is another one of those 'expressionistic sketches' fic writer. Pretty prose with cohesive symbolism, yay. This fic is my favorite kind of slash, or my favorite kind of gen, depending. Same diff. Slashy gen. It's kind of like Murder By Numbers; you squee every time Richard does that Face Grab of Latent Gayness (kudos to
queenofhell for coining that term), but no one says anything outright. Gotta love that wary circling. Anyway. 'Salience.' It's Harry/Draco BUT IT'S NOT, y'know? And I don't usually 'do' Harry/Draco anyway.
Quote: This year, Harry's mostly been avoiding Draco, because just like the school knows all about the Gryffindor love lives, they know that Draco’s father is a Death Eater and he’s destined to follow.
Into Dust by
holographis
Yeah, her again. Harry/Tom. Blowjobbery and creepiness. So creepy.
Quote: He remembers Tom standing above them both, smiling, laughing, eyes bright, hair dark, skin pale, all of him growing more vivid as Ginny was drained away, like a photograph developing.
Draco Malfoy and the Trophy Wife by Malvolia
I was originally going to rec her other fic, The Stragglers, but last minute change, wot. This one's Draco/Pansy. Don't "eww, het" me. Malvolia's fics are charming. Cute, 'more canon' than my usual fare, and not as twisted either. They're the kind of fics you'd invite over for tea and biscuits, but then end up sitting on the floor and sharing chocolates, watching old episodes of Blue's Clues from when Steve was still host. (We miss you Steeeeve!) ...Yeah, that was the most messed-up metaphor ever.
Quote: "Move on. I know it'll be hard, but I'm sure there's a recovery program out there for situations just such as these, and if anyone can find a recovery program, it's a Parkinson."
Harry Potter and the Jealous Husband by Lady K. d'Azrael
Again, ya'll probably already read this. Still. 'Cos: "Get out there NOW and don’t even think about coming back until you’ve taken over London, or at least a nice part of Islington where the house prices are high."
Quote: "Look Harry – it’s not helpful when you call me ‘Voldie’ before them ... or, well – shop at Marks and Spencers – I mean, it’s a muggle shop and – ooh, teriyaki salmon steaks..."
Can't Be Held Responsible by Amy Fortuna
Like 'Walking Shadow,' it turns the Potterverse on its head, but in a different way.
Quote: Yes, Minerva thought to herself, folding her arms across her chest, Harry was happy here in a way he had never been at home.
Then I recced a bunch of
luciusmalfoy's fics because she was like my fave HP writer. But her site's down. So whatev.
I signed up for The Multifandom Soap Opera Cliche Challenge. Okay, good night.
