I'll tell ya why Brad and Catherine Zeta got no sparkle: Brad is too sexually ambiguous - I can imagine how you might need a more red-blooded 100% cavemanish male sexuality to face off convincingly with CZJ in a bedroomish scene. Same prob with that film he was in with Julia Roberts which I can't remember the name of and have only seen clips of. Hold on - 'The Mexican'. Got it. Weirdly, I was thinking about this very thing while standing at the bus-stop earlier on today. Thinking about some male celebs and how they have this vibe that makes them attractive to both women and men (gay and straight - not that the straight contingent would -for the most part- admit it) and how they're comfortable with it. How, in fact, they spawn rumors about their sexuality 'cos they're so damn comfortable with male and female attention. I came up with a mini-list: Brad Pitt (ta-dah!), David Beckham and Orlando Bloom. I like to toy with the idea that this 'vibe' is an undisclosed/undiscovered bisexuality on their part but hey, that's just conjecture. (Don't nobody sue.)
