I haven't! And for not being a Christian, I have a high tolerance for Christian rock, to the point of once calling Jars of Clay and Sixpence None the Richer my favorite bands, and I do still like them. I picked up my love for them in I think middle school and actually had no idea they were Christian bands until, um, much later? Also, partly it's like, a lot of Christian rock seems to be stuck in 90s-music mode, and I love 90s music, so hey. AND I totally enjoyed the Prince of Egypt soundtracks. Sigh.
Yanno, when I first started attaching to Narnia, it was mostly folky and atmospheric things, mostly instrumentals. I couldn't reconcile electric guitars and guys who can't sing with Narnia, it felt too anachronistic. I don't have character playlists, but my general Narnia playlist is still mostly soft introspective songs, 'cos I (oh le sigh) write soft, introspective fics. Like, these are how I want my fics to sound.
If you like folk-like and Narnia, check out the song 'Bridges & Balloons' by Joanna Newsom because it is ABOUT NARNIA: http://www.allthelyrics.com/lyrics/joanna_newsom/bridges_and_balloons-lyrics-902934.html I think it is from Susan's point of view. WHAT DO YOU THINK
