2a. Ages ago I fiddled with the idea of a Boondock Saints AU where Peter and Edmund destroy shit and kill people in the name of god ~~andthentheyhavesex~~. It's not like they'd be completely out of their element. Aslan is totally Il Duce, but damned if I know who Smecker would be. Caspian is Greenly.

3. Speaking of Boondock Saints, In God's Country is greenapple's drabble-remix of my Boondock Saints fic Big Sky Country and it (the remix) is AMAZING. AMAZING. Connor/Murphy (warning: incest etc), rated R. Big ups to her for condensing 5000 words down to 400. Oh my gosh you guys, BOONDOCK SAINTS. GOOD TIMES. (Also, what is it about a canon with religious themes that makes it so prone to incest?)

amory_vain remixed my Y Tu Mama Tambien fic here, and it is HOT. I, um... didn't do my drabble remix because I never got my assignment, and then I forgot about it. I FAIL REMIXTHEDRABBLE. But I talked to the mods and they say I can get in on it anyway, late as I am. If I do, I'll apparently be drabbling Heroes!

5. I like to go on TV Tropes' Merlin page and see new stuff get added to it after every episode. Is it just me or are the examples for HoYay/FoeYay extremely skimpy. It is not just me. Camelot is totally crawling with STDs. ETA: Was it one of you guys that added that last bit to Hoyay??

i think i might've indulged more in narnia rpf if, y'know, skandar and georgie weren't so young. reading will/skan mostly just made me feel creepy, which is very weird reasoning i know, considering the variety of creepy things i have written, but... i dunno.

yeah, in narnia fandom, it's pretty much either incest or rpf. it's just whichever one squiks you less. of course, now i have no problem with either of them. FANDOM, YOU HAVE RUINED ME!

i have a folder full of pretty narnia and merlin icons that i have no space for. i just recently broke down and whored out my LJ for advertising space in exchange for more icon space. i have one that is from the premiere your icon is in, except without the words. will and his stupid skinny tie, lolz. anna and her hotness \o/. georgie and her cute! skandar and his bad haircuts.

it's not rpf that squicks me. i've written my fair share of that. (i've even written... rpf incest? SHHHH.) but it's mostly that skandar being 15 weirds me out.

...man i feel like i need justifications for my justifications. ethical sense: i am not making it? fandom: spawning questionable morals since IDEK.

Just gonna pop in and say that Skandar is 17 at the moment. Unless imdb is lying to me...

yeah, i know what you mean. skandar and georgie used to creep me out too, but then i discovered likecharity's fics, and, like, a well written fic can convince me of ANYTHING. also, skandar is 17 now, which makes it like, slightly less illegal.

i think it is partly the forgetting/distancing process of aging, 'cos now that i'm 22 i'm like, "oh noez, debauching teenagers?! GASP, say it ain't so!" and back when i was 17 i thought people within the 16-22 age bracket could begin to do anything.

whereas i, being 18, am totally cool with it. well, i'm okay with in in theory. XD

it's funny how things like that color our views, even in fandom.
