It's totally the fault of writing the Merlin&Will fic that I went and watched 'Skins'. 'Cos when I mentioned Will in the past, people'd say, "Oh, you mean that guy from Skins!" So, with a renewed interest, off I went intertubing through the 'net, and went straight for the episode called 'Chris'. Who is of course the character Will plays.

THE THING IS. I was in the library at the time, working on my statistics homework and watching internet TV. (I caught up a bit with 'Heroes' during it. Since my homework was mostly grunt work and 'Heroes' has become mediocre, the two of them combined kept my mind fully engaged.) SO. The first scene was Will having an erection, then pissing on himself, and then we get a gratuitous ass shot. I was like, "WOAH, TONE IT DOWN THERE, WE'RE IN PUBLIC. (NICE BUTT!)" But I figure no one ever looks at anyone else's computer screens anyway (...right?) so whatever. But then we get to the part where that girl and that guy who looks familiar were taking off their clothes, and that was the end of watching 'Skins' in the computer lab.

THAT GUY, WHO LOOKS FAMILIAR? Is that kid from 'About a Boy'! wtf?! The kid from 'About a Boy' was taking off his clothes on the library computer!

omg, this show is hilarious. It's just a little off-beat and cute, and FUNNY, and I just wanna hang out with Sid. It's got excellent moments, like Will standing in the middle of the road with the boner of death and a broken heart. And Sid whole's interaction with that messed up girl in the beginning, hahaha. And everyone sleeping together in a big dogpile in the living room <33 omg adorable. And everything about Will and the wardrobe omfg, hilarious and heartbreaking and absurd. I'm watching it as I'm writing this. You guys who watch 'Skins', which episodes have the most Will in them?

omg Will's butt is all over the place! All scenes involving Will's butt are awesome, especially the one with the guy in the bathtub.

Elle/Claire is pretty sexy and feels like boyslash. Claire/HRG is still inappropriately heated. [OMG WILL'S EMO RUN THROUGH THE PARK <33333. Wiiiilllllll. And the scene at his dad's house? Holy shit. Good stuff.] Elle/Sylar, I like it when she was shooting lightning bolts at him in revenge. But then they made out and it was too soon. I might feel Peter/Claire where I didn't before. And Nathan&Peter bromance is still awesome.

I noticed I was liking things that I hadn't liked before: Claire's valiant brattiness and the dweebing down (a.k.a. rushed redemption) of antagonists. 'Heroes': I'd only think it's good if I were doing statistics homework?

It's been a good week for TV-watching on the internet. Still don't care about 'Lost'. (MAKE ME CARE AGAIN, 'LOST'.) Randomly getting into 'House' again. Of that I have this to say: House/Cuddyyyyyy. OH AND 'KINGS'. Let me tell you about 'Kings'. It's like this:

Kings = Merlin - crack + srs bsns

It's a 'Merlin' Americanmonarchy!AU. If I described bits of the first episode using no names, you wouldn't know which show I was talking about. The crazy king, the bratty prince, the valiant parvenu, and ~*~DESTINY~*~. Arthur/Jack, guys?!

:-/ I HAVE HEARD that they actually wanna play down the gay. The Reverend is pretty badass though, yeah. I haven't looked at the Eyes eps, I don't have it around anymore since viruses from skeevy internet TV made me reformat my laptop.

Jack is kind of how I wished Arthur was like more. I kind of wish Arthur hadn't de-pratted himself so quickly. I mean, he's still a prat, but I can't imagine Arthur of the later episodes bullying that steward from the first episode. I wanted him to indulge in more debauchery.

Yeah, that's what Wikipedia says and it's KIND OF UPSETTING. But like, Jack is ridiculously pretty from certain angles? I mean, it's really just a matter of weighing my righteous disappoinment against like, cheekbones, and I'm willing to give it a couple more eps to reach a conclusion. Also, the evil general (or whatever) is the evil Huron from Last of the Mohicans and one of the comic relief guards is the douchebag songwriter from Music & Lyrics, which is kind of entertaining in its own way. Oh haaaaa, and I'm watching ep 2 right now and the Gath general is, uh, some dude from a crime show or other. Oh, TV.

Sometimes I think they rushed through Arthur's ~reformation because they couldn't be sure whether the show would be renewed and they wanted to get the point across. It really was pretty fast, but hey, *~Merlin tends to have that effect on, uh, people? I'M TALKING ABOUT BUTTSEX

Jack. :-(
