anthropomorphized ducks are my favorite

Is anyone else watching 'Testees'? It's a sitcom about two losers who are BFFs and work as guinea pigs for all sorts of horrible plot devices products at the product-testing company Testico. It is utterly a) delightful, and b) slashy. An initial foray into the interwebs reveals NO FIC, which is unfortunate because it is obvious that Peter just wants to bone Ron all day, even when he thinks he doesn't, like in that one episode where they lost their memories due to a brainwashing experiment and their jerkwad friend convinces them that they are gay lovers.

That's Peter on the left, Ron on the right. The guy in the middle is one of the research scientists, and he is saying, "Last week you told me to take this job and shove it up my rear end. Well, look at it! Look at my rear end! Do you see your jobs there?!"

This is from the first episode where Peter ends up pregnant, and Ron and Peter spend the whole half hour being two dads. Here, they are using duct tape to practice putting on diapers on their jerkwad friend Nugget.

From the episode where Peter gets his face glued to Ron's ass. "I felt like a hemorrhoid stuck in a porno."

The most adorable worst make-out scene ever.

IN CONCLUSION:

They are doing it.

RULE 34, YOU ARE FAILING ME.

Also, flailsquee on the 'The Office' and 'Parks & Recreation'

I'm convinced that The Office and Parks & Recreations takes place in the same universe. They're by the same people and it's the same mockumentary format, sure, but it's more Michael/Leslie would be the OTP to end all OTPs. They would make each other so happy!

Parks & Recreations so far is really similar to The Office. You've got the awkward bumbling boss that no one really likes (Michael and Leslie), the irreverent number two (Jim and Tom), aaand, what else. Except that Leslie is actually good-hearted and likable, and actually wants to make something of herself and her small town, whereas Michael just wants to be popular. Also, Tom is not as sweet as Jim, though likable in his own way. omg, i still can't get over Michael/Leslie. SO PERFECT. And: referencing 'Phantom Tollbooth' by the second episode? WIN.

The Michael Scott Paper Company is just cracking my shit up. Michael and Pam and Ryan and RYAN'S HAIR and, dude, how impressed are you with the whole cheeseballs thing? I for one was quite impressed. Did they have to practice ages for that? Is there some camera trick? Or is this one of the things the cast actually does with each other and they wanted to include it in the show somehow?

Charles turning things upside-down at the office is pretty awesome, I must say. I kind of love that Jim is getting his comeuppance for being such a smarmy bastard, and that this boss actually likes Dwight. Michael and Dwight's dysfunctional whatever will never not warm my heart, though. (Dwight tells Michael about all his "Mose is jumping down my well!" problems!)

But the reason I'm breaking out the Donald Duck icon is because I really love 'Duck Tales', 'cos sometimes they have

Scrooge McDuck: It's rare when a woman compounds my interest daily.
Millionera Vanderbucks: Scroogeybucks, what are you trying to say?
Scrooge: There comes a time in a man's life when he must incorporate.
Millionera: Yes? Yes?!
Scrooge: What would you say to a... a merger?
Millionera: Why sugar stocks, is that a proposal?
Scrooge: Aye, it is, my little corporate cupcake!
Millionera: Does this mean that some day we'll have little business ventures together?
Scrooge: I wouldn't mind a wee dividend or two, my fiscal filly.
Millionera: In that case, I accept! I'll be Mrs. Millionera McDuck! I can't wait to bring you home to meet--
Scrooge: Your mother?
Millionera: My accountant!
Scrooge: I'm the happiest man in my tax bracket.

And then at the wedding (WHICH IS AT THE BANK): "Do you, Millionera Vanderbucks, take this man to be your lawful wedded husband in recession and inflation, for profit or for loss for the rest of your fiscal years until bankruptcy do you part?"

Brainwashed into thinking they're gay lovers? Where do you even come up with these shows?

I blame this one on too much time with OnDemand, and then discovering Hulu.

I loved the Ducktails genie movie. Such an essential part of my childhood.

Hell yeah! Duck Tales is like Indiana Jones and Tintin but with ducks, yaaaay. I kinda want to write Donald Duck fic now. Did you ever read the Don Rosa comics about Scrooge in his younger days? So good! For kid comics.
