I may have mentioned this once or ten times, but I am a huuuUUUUUuuge fan of Donald Duck and his clan. My heart goes out to him every time the world makes him the buttmonkey, and I cheer every time they let him be awesome. At the tender age of 18, my boyfriend's first big gift to me was stuffed plushies of Donald Duck's various incarnations throughout the years. He knows the way to my heart. The idea of this more erudite Donald Duck who quotes German literature and is a mouthpiece for political criticism is SO HAPPIFYING, I cannot even fjklda;kfs'd
But I would settle for one about Daffy Duck and Donald Duck hanging out over strong drink and reminiscing about the good old days, though. "The bigger the ears, the more the despicability-ness!" Daffy says, and Donald drinks to that.

Last month the fan group D.O.N.A.L.D (the German acronym stands for “German Organization for Non-commercial Followers of Pure Donaldism”), hosted its 32nd annual congress at the Museum of Natural History in Stuttgart, with trivia and trinkets galore, along with lectures devoted to “nephew studies” and Duckburg’s solar system.hfdlsakf;js;ds ZOMG. and NEPHEW STUDIES. Pure Donaldism.

This is like the opposite of being lost in translation. I need to read about Donald speaking in grammatically complex sentences and musing philosophically right the hell now. Someone needs to translate Fuch's translation back into English, omg. Or someone needs to write Donald Duck fic.
