You. Me. Road.
Due to an unforeseen yet excellent chain of events, I have been listening to a lot of Beatles lately. Here are some awesome Beatle-ish audio files you should check out:
1. "And Your Bird Can Sing" (Take #?)
They must've been on some good stuff during the take because they just cannot stop laughing. IT IS HILARIOUS AND ADORABLE. I found this trawling through my dad's large and random Beatles collection years ago. He has multiple versions of the same songs all over the place. Aside from the laughing and whistling and stuff, you can also hear that the intro's different, for example.
2. DJ Natural, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"
One of my favorite Beatles covers. It's got a chilled-out triphoppy sound.
3. Loo & Placido's mash-up of The Beatles, Black Eyed Peas, Kelis, and Ludacris
You cannot tell me you are not curious. You would totally dance to this too. They use "Run For Your Life" and "Girl" by The Beatles, "Let's Get Retarded" by Black Eyed Peas, and I don't know which Ludacris or Kelis song they use. Anyway, it's pretty excellent.
4. "Michelle" from Beatles Go Baroque
An orchestral arrangement of "Michelle" in the Baroque style.I WANNA BAROQUE 'N ROLL ALL NIGHT
In conclusion,

D'AAAAAAAAAWWWW. <3

ETA: You can actually see a bunch of the pictures from the book on the website. I like the one of them at the beach in the matching terrycloth shirts-- people used to give them matching gifts all the time, and even though it was mostly cheap stuff like plastic swords or toys or clothes, if one person was left out, that person would sulk. OH, BOYS.
