Morgana/Gwen is canoner than Arthur/Merlin. Then there should be ARTHUR/LANCELOT of throwing manly ego around. Well, maybe more on Arthur's part. Lancelot seems too square to indulge in these ego games.

flsfjd GEOOOOOORGE. And maybe during the tea party where they're floating near the ceiling, Susan drops something and she has to float back down to get it. And Bert wonders what sad things Susan thinks about to float herself back down, but it's not on to ask. Alternatively, Susan has super reflexes and grabs the thing with the hook of her parasol before it falls.

Susan wonders if Mary Poppins or George or maybe even Bert has gone to Narnia -- such things don't seem impossible anymore -- but anyway she hasn't even mentioned the word 'Narnia' for years and why should she start now? And besides, well, even if they were to talk about Narnia... maybe now just isn't the time.

I TOTALLY SHIP BERT/MARY. I lean towards thinking that he's normal, but just very open to things. And also I get the impression that he's the type to say, "I'm not one to let a little magic get in the way between me and a pretty face!" But he doesn't seriously ask her to stay 'cos he knows Mary Poppins comes and goes, but he's always delighted to have her around?

CRAZIER THEORY: Bert and Mary knew each other IN NARNIA. They are both from inside the wardrobe. They are living in our world as chimbley sweeps and magical nannies because their home world of CHARN was DESTROYED BY JADIS. Or possibly they were part of the group who disappeared into the shadow in TLB because they didn't believe in Aslan? Or possibly Mary Poppins was, um... Jadis's sister? JUST PUTTING IT OUT THERE.
