No, I can see that. Arthur can't marry some orphaned maid, he has to marry not as Arthur but as Camelot. But at the speed the relationship is going, maybe it will instill some needed slow-burn into it.
His women are indeed AWESOME. They are the best! I really love the group of girls in Book 1 just drinking beer and smoking weed, because it's so rare that girls just casually hang out like this in stories, comics or otherwise! More girls just chilling (not necessarily partying!) with booze and weed please!
I strongly suspect that the reason that most of the central characters are women is some sort of literary subversion I have similar suspicions! I'm not sure if I would have noticed it if it weren't for how fandom likes to talk about representation in media. I appreciate it more now. I get distracted by how great these girls are!
