I really loved this. I haven't read many codas to 5x04 because I found the world in it to be so bleak and painful, and I'm so glad I decided to try this story, because it was amazing. I love the way you write Castiel's point of view in this, and this line:

"It's not so bad," he finally says, because now that he's not an angel anymore, it's easier to lie.

just slayed me. Awesome story.
