...I think Nala and Simba grew up in a hunter community/commune run by Mufasa, and then Scar allied with the demons, or something, and Mufasa was killed and Simba ran away because he thought it was his fault, and somehow he fell in with Timon and Pumbaa. Who own a hotel, apparently.
