pt 2.

Oh my god, is this going to become an accidental novel? Cas and Anna find Sam, Dean tries to convince him that his life in danger, and Sam is like ya'll are crazy, get out of my face. "Haven't you been having strange dreams, feeling like your life is not your own?" Dean demands. Sam looks scared then and is definitely all, "GET OUT OF MY FACE." And Dean resists just angelzapping memories of Sam's old life back to him. Resists, because if being human is what Sam wants, maybe he should stay that way, because Dean wants Sam to be happy. Maybe there's a way to keep Sam safe without bringing up the past--

AND THEN THE ANGELS ATTACK. Action sequence, bla bla bla, Dean is discovered as a traitor. In the aftermath, there is angst, revelations, and intense emotions in wherever it is Dean, Sam, Anna, and Cas are recuperating. "You know it's true," Dean says. "You know who you used to be, you know who you still are."

And Sam doesn't want to believe it, but he knows it's true.

"I'm sorry," Dean says, and Sam snaps, "Don't."

Then the story goes on like episode 4x10 for a while, plus a side of Dean angstily convincing Sam to become an angel again to protect himself. The four of them go to find Sam's grace. Another action sequence goes here.

Anyway, skipping ahead to after Sam has angeled up and disappeared. The next scenes are a callback to Dean's search for Sam in the beginning of the fic. It's twice as frustrating and heartbreaking for Dean because he has already done this, he can't do this again, but he persists, because for Sam. Eventually he catches up with Sam and is basically angry with him. "YOU DON'T GET TO LEAVE ME A SECOND TIME," Dean says. "We're doing this together. You're all I have now." They fell because of each other, anyway.

Dean's cellphone chirps with a text.

Sam says, "Angels have cellphones now?"

It's Cas texting Dean asking if he's okay.

Dean texts back that they're fine.

"So where to now?" Sam asks, and Dean grins, and says, "Everywhere."

And then they are renegade angels ever after, the end.

Hmm. This isn't too full of plot holes, is it? Do you reckon I can sign up for the next Big Bang with this?
