Maybe in the end maybe Sam and Dean ditch their vessels and are renegade angels in their true angel forms. It kind of wouldn't be fair to not!Jensen that he signed up to be a servant of heaven, but now he's a servant to a rebel angel. But then again, what's to stop the angels from kidnapping not!Jensen and torturing him for information after Dean leaves? Or should not!Jensen be comatose when Dean possesses him? Should he be dead? Vessel consent issues.
