Jesse appears in Dean's house, and Dean is seated at the kitchen table, glass with two fingers of whiskey on the table. Castiel stands beside him, stiff with inhumanity. They both look up when Jesse appears, and Castiel takes Claire's hand from Dean's shoulder.

"Jesse--" Castiel begins to say.

"Don't you Jesse me," he hisses, marching straight into Castiel's space, not that the angel is one to be thrown off by such invasions. "This isn't part of the deal."

"The deal was that I save her," Castiel replies. "That I keep her alive."

"Yeah, go on and twist my words, you goddamned--"

"Kids, kids," Dean cuts in, smirking but sounding tired. "Play nice."
