Claire Novak in the aftermath of The Rapture. I'M SORRY FOR MY ONE-TRACK MIND. I mean, I guess if you squint and turn sideways, it could possibly be not about Supernatural, but my Claire Novak feelings guided my erasing, so. Yeah. she’s never really forgiven that year, regardless.
after a while, she wonders
if she didn’t just imagine him after all.
"His soul was inside of me, you can’t possibly understand..."
but not sure that her statement is entirely correct.

there’s something else there
so much more debilitating than change

silence clung thickly to her veins,
like another of many ghosts
and a question remains unspoken.
she just finishes his vow
trembling, trying to express something
she’s never been able to say.
"Do you really expect me to believe?"
weighing her options before answering,
"No."
