the one where i watch a buttload of TV

So, I watched that Batman AU, Under the Red Hood. I don't know Batlore at all, so my thoughts are coming from someone whose reactions mostly consisted of OMFG DEAN D:.

-- It was enjoyable in my mind to watch this like it's a S4 AU where Dean comes back from the dead, but ~came back wrong~ and then he takes revenge on the Joker Alastair. Z and I spent most of the watch either going D: or going OMG HE TOTALLY JUST SOUNDED LIKE DEAN THAT IS SOMETHING DEAN WOULD TOTALLY SAY OMG THAT WAS DEAN'S ANGST FOR A MINUTE THERE *_______* <33333 deeeaaaaaan

-- Alastair and the Joker would make such amazing BFFs, guys, omg. Singing "Cheek to Cheek" as they eviscerate victims, sassing each other unto eternity. <3333 sociopathic lifemates

-- I'M NOT USED TO SEEING THIS MUCH VIOLENCE IN CARTOONS. Have cartoons always been as violent? Am I just old and naive now? I mean, the crowbar D: and blood splatters and those three guys, and then they were DEAD, and and getting your head crushed by your own robot suit annnnnd! D:

-- That scene on the rooftop with Red Hood and Batman being gay for each other? And Jason takes off his mask? Ahaha. UNDER THIS MASK! IS ANOTHER MASK! lololololol

IN CONCLUSION: JOKER/ALASTAIR OTP

And then there was Rizzoli & Isles! I don't usually do procedural shows, but I was curious about this one because 1) it's set in Boston and I have a hard-on for Massachusetts, and 2) both the leads are women. It's like Bones if Angel was a girl. It's eh-okay so far. Needs moar Rizzoli/Isles subtext.

Speaking of shows set in Boston, I barely watch Leverage anymore, but JO HARVELLE WAS IN AN EPISODE so of course I had to watch that one and country singer Jo *________* SHE HAS SUCH A NICE VOICE. AS DOES CHRIS KANE. I feel like I'm missing out on some CWRPF joke/plot bunnies on account of how Chris Kane is actualfax in a band and JAckles sings country. Or something. Everything about Eliot being a country star was just winnnn win win. Isn't this the second time they've had to pull a deus ex Eliot? He had to be a baseball celebrity too.

The Bjork!Parker thing was UGH SO EXECRABLE, though. >:(

And thennnnn I watched

-- wtf Romeo did no one racefail-beta this shit uuuggggghhhhhhh

-- I barely recognized Greenly! And then it was like that moment from Hook -- "THERE you are, Greenly!" Man, he's gotten old. And fugs. But still adorably dumb! And then dead. :(

-- You know who else has gotten old and fugs? Connor! I had to check IMDB to make sure that was Sean Patrick Flanery, goddamn.

-- NORMAN REEDUS, ON THE OTHER HAND, REMAINS AS SEXY AS EVER.

-- I appreciate the callbacks! The cat. "Symbolism". Listening to crazy music while you figure out the crime scene.

-- If this whole movie had just been impressionistic reenactments of shoot-'em-outs, I would've been okay with that.

-- What the even fuck was that fucking stupid-ass dream. (I like that they dream in tandem tho.)

-- I'm glad Smecker isn't dead.

-- NOT ENOUGH BROCESTUAL SUBTEXT. Perhaps I will have to create some via fic.

-- I don't know how I feel about the implication of a third movie.

IN CONCLUSION: I'm just gonna reread paronymous/sepulchral again and be nostalgic for the old days.

I'm only watching a lot of shit because life has been rather :( lately. Tell me a joke, flist. Explain to me why Castiel crossed the road and why Sam is like a writing desk. Tell me about the plot bunnies that the S6 spoilers are giving you.
