THE NARNIA MOVIE IS OUT, I GUESS?! I'm so out of touch. Mainly I have been keeping up via cast picspams on my flist. GEORGIIIIIIE, WHEN DID YOU GET SO FABULOUS? I did watch other things that I would like to spaz out about.
For example, The Professional. OMGGGG YOU GUYS. SO THERE IS THIS GIRL MATHILDA (TINY NATALIE PORTMAN), AND WHEN HER WHOLE FAMILY IS KILLED, SHE FORCIBLY INSERTS HERSELF INTO the life of her quiet neighbor, Leon (SKINNY JEAN RENO), who is a terrifyingly efficient mafia hitman. SHE MAKES HIM TEACH HER HOW TO SHOOT GUNS. YOU KNOW, SO SHE CAN AVENGE HER FAMILY. BUT ALSO SOMETIMES THEY ARE ADORABLE AND PLAY CHARADES AND THEY DON'T GET EACH OTHER'S REFERENCES!! AND SOMETIMES SHE GOES ON HITS WITH HIM!!! THEY BREAK DOWN EACH OTHER'S WALLS!!!! ajlkgjlkfdgjfdl
I LOVE THIS MOVIE, lol surprise.
This is actually the second time I've watched this movie. I liked it before, and I love it a hell of a lot more now, especially since I was watching it with my Claire/Castiel goggles on. Well, at first. It doesn't really work, because Mathilda's family are not the Novaks, and Castiel in this case would have to be both Jean Reno AND Gary Oldman. But anyway.
It's a pretty devastating movie. I forget that Leon dies at the end, and I was like DDDDDDDD: OH NOOOOOO. Also, New York used to have cable cars?! wtf?!
Yeah. Yeah, you can bet I was pretty into Mathilda's crush on Leon. WHY CAN'T I EVER SHIP ANYTHING HAPPY OR HEALTHY. Actually, no, I don't ship Mathilda/Leon per se, but OH GODDDDD I LOVE THEM, THEIR EVERY INTERACTION IS LIKE BEAUTIFUL KNIVES IN MY HEART. THE RUSSIAN ROULETTE SCENE?! The bed sharing, and he buys her a dress, and he tells her about his ex-love, and she teaches him to read, and then and then AND THEN I DON'T EVEN KNOOOOOOOW OMG THEY TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHERRRRRR, and he says to Tony give my money to her if anything happens to me, and TONY. WITH HIS SNEAKY "KEEPING YOUR MONEY SAFE FOR YOU" WAYS. And Leon sees Mathilda in the dress, and he never would, he's better than that, but maybe someday...
AND THEN HE TELLS HER HE LOVES HER. BECAUSE HE KNOWS HE'S FUCKED AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH
BUT HERE IS THE CLAIRE/CASTIEL-EST MOMENT OF ALL: THE END OF THE MOVIE, WHEN SHE PLANTS LEON'S PLANT IN THE GROUND. And calls it Leon. MATHILDA/LEONTREE 4EVA. OMG. I cannot handle this moviiiiiiieeee.
The other thing I wanna spaz about is
Well, mostly about Caroline and Tyler and HURT/COMFORT PORN ON MY SCREEN. OMG. My favorite character on this show is still Caroline. I loved her insecurity and ditzy backhanded compliments and tryhard ways, and I am XD that her reaction to getting vamped up was not horrified emo angst, but just kinda like, "Hmm, now what?" She is far from perfect, but she rings true as a self-absorbed teenager learning about things bigger than herself.
Also she was Dean's ex from "After School Special" and she has young!Mary's hair, but that is another issue altogether. I also wanna give a shout-out to Katherine and Bonnie for being awesome -- SHOUT SHOUT -- and okay, now this:
THIIIIISSSSSS AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH YOU GUYS. I don't ship them I think and I'm not rooting for them to bone (but they probably will anyway, and I will be okay with it). I just want them to stick by each other and try to figure out the world together forever and ever.

callowyn (WITH WHOM I WENT ON A PILGRIMAGE TO THE CASLER BUILDING TODAY :DDDDD), my heart has this tendency to be overtaken by side characters. Narnia: Susan, Calormen. Merlin: sorcerer revolution, WILL. Supernatural: angels, Novaks. Vampire Diaries: werewolves, I guess? My favorite character from Aladdin was the carpet.
Don't front, you know it was the best.

THIS IS OMG WHAT IS THIS THIS IS AMAZING. It's an illustrated story about Narcissa Black and her ambitions, and her fucked up family, and LOYALTY and SACRIFICE omgggg. The artwork is beautiful and the story heartstabbing. The tragedy of powerful families doomed by their own hubris and tangled loyalties, THAT IS MY DRUG. Warnings: violence, self-harm, sexual coercion. Not sure who it's by. Rated R?
