Happy international women's day! Have a vid about how awesome Nikita is: She Walks Softly, But She Carries a Big Gun by readthesubtext. Aside from the subject matter and spot-on editing, I am also a fan of the song choice. There's not a lot of vids I see that use hip-hop unironically.

While on the subject of vids, I'm also a big fan of the Back to the Future trilogy vid, Tik-Tok by jackiekjono. I fucking love the Back to the Future movies THEY ARE THE VERY BEST, and this vid makes me smile in the soul.

Oh hey, remember when I was going on about Odyssey 5? An awesome person took the time to make proper Odyssey 5 pimping post. I recommend you check it out, so I can have someone to talk to about how the angel/vessel PTSD possibly worked in reverse in the Kurt/Balthazar relationship. Oh hey, sometimes Odyssey Five also goes a little meta.

Whatever your thoughts on the Supernatural anime, maybe you still want to check out its sixth episode, "Till Death Do Us Part", because it is SET IN STANFORD ERA. OMG. JOHN&DEAN ON A CASE. SAM&JESS IN STANFORD. I mean, the anime is cheesy as fuck, sure. But... STANFORD ERA! :D

- I find Caroline to be more interesting when she isn't with Matt, but she's been through a lot since the last time she was with Matt, so idk, maybe you are going somewhere this time, girl. Caroline: STILL MY FAVORITE.

- Show, why you gotta play that way with my ships? Matt&Vicky, you kill her off. Tyler/Mason, you kill him off. Tyler/Caroline, now he's fucked off to wherever.

What does it say that I have seen this before? I LOVE IT SO MUCH THOUGH SO THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR BRINGING IT INTO MY LIFE AGAIN. Marty makes the most perfect faces for this. And that scene where he brings up the letter? ahahahaha oh my goddddd.

BUT SERIOUSLY THOUGH, Doc and Marty's friendship is epic. When Marty went back to 1985, this means Doc waited 30 years to meet Marty for the first time again. What did Doc think seeing Marty for the first time after all those years? Recognition? Relief? How did this "first meeting" go?

Ahhh!! So many glorious questions! Time-travelly questions are so pretty and needy - the idea of waiting to meet someone again for the first time (lol, sentence) makes my heart soo big!!! There's this anime movie called 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time' and it's SOOOO PAINFUL BUT BEAUTIFUL AND THERE'S TIME AND NOT ENOUGH OF IT!!!

Have you seen 'The Fountain'? I bet you have. But IF you haven't, you need to get on that STAT. There's love that lasts forever and things that will tickle your Thingstiel fancies.

It's weird rewatching BTTF these days because of Doc and Marty's friendship. I mean, it's awesome and I love it, but I can't help but think that if a high school kid were constantly hanging around with a weirdo recluse ~scientist these days, I think more people's minds would go to a "is Doc a pedophile?" place. Intergenerational friendships have become less accepted. Or at least, definitions of friendship are maybe more narrow that they don't know how to account for a relationship between someone very old and someone very young.

I have not watched The Fountain! I will keep your rec in mind though. THINGSTIELS, EH? That looks like one hell of a grace tree! :D
