we have so many forms of communication, i.e. the internet and cellphones and things, but they seem to just be in the way of forming a genuine connection with people. so when we see that connection in others (especially goodlooking talented others), we latch on, because we want it for ourselves.

er.... i'm going to stop talking now, lol. you probably didn't mean to inspire a whole rambling incomprehensive monologue. well, that's what you got. *grins*
