Darling, this is when you know I've really gotten into a fandom. Back in The Day, I had bundles and bundles of CSI:NY AUs, including the AU where they traveled through a quantum mirror to MORE AUs.
*eyes ceiling* Today -- no, yesterday -- I found myself wondering what PC would have been like if Caspian was a girl, and then I realized we wouldn't have PC, because Miraz would have no reason to have her killed. He would have just waited for his son to grow up and then married Caspiana to his kid (or maybe not waited for his son to grow up; you know how history is. He could have been the littlest groom!). Except for Cornelius, who feels that he can use ancient Narnian law that says women can in fact inherit and can even sit on the throne, using Queens Susan and Lucy as an example. So he spirits Caspiana away, and then she is found by the Narnians, who are all, "Dude, a Telmarine chick! ...what do we do with her?" Meanwhile, the Telmarines are all, "Oh, no, we need the princess back!" And Caspiana (Caspia? Or would she still be just Caspian?) should probably eventually blow the horn at some point, only if the Pevensies arrive, Peter's going to completely disregard her because she can't even fight, and then where are they? Bored out of their minds. And no sex, either.

No, girl!Caspian would get us absolutely nowhere.
Then I started thinking about Edmund/Susan.
