which of those situations would better facilitate susan's eventual alienation? i dunno, any of them, i guess -- it's all how you play the game. is it that susan gets alienated because somehow peter and edmund become closer or whatever, or is it because she drifts away that peter and edmund become bound more tightly? and lucy watching on the sidelines, saddened and empathic and thinking oh aslan aslan don't you see what is happening to us?
