fandomsecrets is hilarious. I stopped reading Postsecret a while ago because it gets so fucking depressing, but fandomsecrets is just full of lolz. There's a bunch of anime and manga stuff blah blah blah, a bunch of "my secret is that i ship characterA/characterB! or, that i want to sex up character C! this is a secret because my flist will think i am SO WEIRD!!!" WHATEVER. I like coming across a secret about Ben Folds Five, or The Who or Charles Bronson, because this implies that there is Ben Folds Five fic. WHERE THE BEN FOLDS FIVE FIC AT. (I wrote one long ago, and it sucked! I posted it on ffnet. Ya, it was THAT long ago.) Speaking of obscure RPF, have you gotten your daily dose of Zac Hanson/Taylor Hanson today?

While we're at it, is there ANY fic at all, o magnanimous flist, for The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford? And SOMEONE somewhere has written Marx/Engels, right? And why have I not discovered Roy Orbison in Cling-film any sooner? MANY QUESTIONS but so far VERY FEW ANSWERS.

MY fandom secret is that there have been a couple of times IRL when I thought to myself, "What would Edmund do? He would KICK ASS AND NOT GIVE A FUCK, THAT'S WHAT," after which I proceeded to kick ass (I think) and not give a fuck.

...I was looking through my phone contacts last night, and there was an entry for "Peter" and I was just like "...Wtf, Peter has no cell phone, Peter is a fictional character, WHAT THE HELL." I still have no idea who it is! I don't think I know any Peters!

ya, i know a peter in real life too and i have definitely, like, found a notepad document on my computer and called 'peter' and i did a double take when i found out it was, in fact, the beginnings of a ficlet but the beginnings of an email to peter himself. me = HUGE DORK
